Meanwhile, the club is also conducting an internal investigation after receiving the complaints.

Both investigations are trying to determine whether symptoms experienced were related to what guests consumed at the Theatre of Dreams or whether another illness is to blame.

The Red Devils’ current food hygiene rating is listed on the government’s website with the highest grade available, which is 5.

Old Trafford’s annual Food Standards Agency (FSA) inspection was set to take place on October 23.

And the Manchester giants’ rating has not yet been updated for the calendar year 2023.

United draw substantial revenue from hosting events and providing hospitality at Old Trafford.

And the club has yet to comment on the aforementioned allegations.

This comes as the Premier League giants are bracing for a 25 per cent takeover by Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

Ratcliffe is expected to spend more than £1.25billion for his purchase and is expected to run football operations.

And Sir Jim is planning to invest £245million into improving the club’s infrastructure.

Issues at Old Trafford have been visible of late, with a leaking roof amongst the notable decay.
