WWE-style model of hero West Ham fan ‘Knollsy’ up for sale on eBay after fighting off AZ mob

A WWE-style model of West Ham’s hero fan Knollsy has been made and put up for sale on eBay.

The Hammers supporter was in attendance for his side’s Europa Conference League semi-final triumph over AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands last week when fans of the East London club were suddenly attacked by Dutch ultras.

But Chris Knoll, nicknamed “Knollsy”, was filmed keeping the Alkmaar thugs at bay by fighting them off at the entrance to the West Ham section at the top of the stairs.

He received a black eye for his troubles, but has since been hailed by the Irons’ fanbase.

He was given a standing ovation as he made his way to his seat for West Ham’s 3-1 win over Leeds on Sunday.

And now a man on social media, Brian Tipping, has revealed the wrestling-style figurine of Knollsy that he has created and put on eBay.

Speaking on Twitter, he said: “Had sooo much fun making this, up on Ebay now for anyone that wants #knollsy #WestHamUnited #WestHam.”

The model contains the exact same black top, green jacket, blue jeans and black shoes that Knollsy was wearing at the Alkmaar game.

It was also finished off with details such as blood on his knuckles and a mark around his left eye – which he bruised during the brawl.

The highest bid on eBay at the time of writing is £92.

Reacting to the model, one person said: “I’m not a West Ham fan but I’m tempted to bid. Amazing!”

Another added: “Absolutely incredible .”

And a third tagged his friend before replying: “Get your bid in.”
