Sergio Aguero Weeps As He Announces Retirement

Barcelona striker and former Manchester City forward, Sergio Aguero, on Wednesday announced his retirement from football.

Recall that the Argentinian was diagnosed with a heart condition, after he experienced chest pain and breathing difficulties during a 1-1 draw with Alavés on October 30.

The striker was taken to the hospital after leaving the field with pain in his chest.

Aguero after his diagnosis was told that he has cardiac arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat), a condition that would hinder him from playing football.

Even though the skilful striker went through a therapeutic process, it was decided, it was better he retires from football.

Aguero dumped English Premier League side, Manchester City for Barcelona just six months ago.

The 33-year-old striker in his playing career scored 436 goals in 802 games.

Aguero’s press conference on Wednesday was attended by his former boss, Pep Guardiola and Barcelona President, Laporta.
