UFC 300 fans are fearing for the health of a big-name fighter ahead of their gruelling weight cut for the iconic card.

The eagerly-anticipated and historic pay-per-view event takes place in Las Vegas on April 13 and will be headlined by a light-heavyweight title fight between Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill.

All 26 fighters on the card will be in the final phases of their calorie-restricted diets, which will get even more stringent on fight week when they bid to make weight.

But fan intrigue is particularly high over one UFC 300 star’s bid to make a weight limit they’ve never made before.

Former Professional Fighters League star Kayla Harrison is set to make her long-awaited octagon debut on the historic card against ex-bantamweight champ Holly Holm.

But the supremely muscle-bound Harrison has never competed at 135lbs in her MMA career, the bulk of which she’s spent at lightweight.

And although her recent social media posts have fans desperate to see her in action, several are concerned about the arduous weight cut ahead of her.

One commented: “Oh she’s definitely cutting.”

Another said: “You gotta drop mad weight 155 to 135 will be the biggest challenge.”

And another said: “Yikes, how are you gonna make 135? They should have at least made it for the 145lbs belt.”

“We did a test cut. Everything was measured, from my heart rate to my blood pressure to my blood sugar.
