Co-owner Rob McElhenney and wife Kaitlin Olson were snapped with the squad out in Vegas.

But centre-back Max Cleworth, 20, was banned from some of the temptations of Vegas.

This was because he had not yet had his 21st birthday – the legal age for drinking and gambling in Nevada.

Speaking about the holiday on the Fearless in Devotion podcast, McElhenney said: “I did not gamble with any of the gentlemen.

“When they went into a casino, mummy and daddy (McElhenney and Kaitlin Olson, McElhenney’s wife) took their leave.”

Reynolds then added: “Wasn’t it Max Cleworth who wasn’t old enough to enjoy the best bits of Vegas?”

McElhenney replied: “Yeah, sometimes he wasn’t allowed into places, and some of the guys would stay with him, and they’d find other things to do.”

Before Reynolds concluded: “He entered Vegas a boy, and he left a man.”

Underage gambling in Vegas carries a penalty of up to six months in jail and a fine.

So Cleworth, who made 24 appearances for Wrexham this season, was forced to explore other parts of Sin City.

The Welsh outfit secured promotion back to the Football League following a 3-1 win over Boreham Wood last month.

They claimed the National League title with a remarkable 111 points, four points ahead of Notts County.
