Wrexham ‘playing Fifa career mode’ as Ryan Reynolds lines up stunning double transfer to help secure promotion
HOLLYWOOD’S favourite football club are reportedly ready to recruit some more stars.
Wrexham, who are owned by acting duo Ryan Reynold and Rob McElhenney, have set their sights on two new forwards for the January transfer window.

According to journalist Darren Witcoop, The Dragons are eyeing Peterborough striker Jonson Clarke-Harris and Sheffield Wednesday forward Lee Gregory.
Both Gregory and Clarke-Harris are playing above League Two level with their current clubs and would have to take a drop down to join Wrexham in England’s fourth tier.
But it wouldn’t be the first time that the Welsh club had convinced talent to join them in a lower division with the likes of Paul Mullin making the decision to do so in 2021.
And fans think that the club are operating like a video game with their latest targets as they one again punch above their weight in the transfer market.
One fan joked on social media: “Wrexham are playing Fifa career mode!”
While another felt that Clarke-Harris would shine if he dropped down the divisions to sign for Wrexham.
They wrote: “Clarke-Harris in League Two would be an absolute cheat code.”
The 29-year-old is currently playing in League One with The Posh and has netted four times in the league this season.

He had an exceptional campaign last term when he scored 26 league goals and finished as the Golden Boot winner in the division.
Gregory on the other hand is currently plying his trade in the Championship with Sheffield Wednesday and has managed just one league goal this season.
The experienced 35-year-old has spent most of his career in the Championship and League One and helped Wednesday gain promotion last season with 11 goals in all competitions.
Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson is said to be keen on getting a striker through the door in January to help his side push for promotion in to League One.
They currently sit in second place in the league just four points off top spot despite only gaining promotion from the National League last season.
