As is usually the case, the Gameweek’s top gaffer made effective use of the Park the Bus Booster to double the points of their entire defence.

William Saliba (£3.8m) was the star of the defensive quintet as he contributed to Arsenal’s clean sheets against Brentford and Lens for a 16-point return, doubled to 32 in this instance.

The Frenchman is now the second-best asset in his position this season having moved onto 96 points.

Oleksandr Zinchenko (£3.5m) was substituted at half-time in midweek so he didn’t play enough minutes to qualify for the Gunners’ latest clean sheet but he pouched nine against the Bees so Daniel can’t have too many complaints.

Kieran Trippier (£5.2m) remains top dog among defenders and while another ten points would have been warmly received by his owners, the right-back came ever so close to a seriously impressive haul against PSG but the Ligue 1 outfit were gifted a generous penalty deep into stoppage-time.

The same can be said of Jamaal Lascelles (£2.1m), who appears in just 2.1% of teams, but Newcastle’s skipper was ahead of the game after the weekend when he scored a rare goal against Chelsea.

Kostas Tsimikas (£3.3m) completed Daniel’s back five with a very respectable ten points.

Filling in for the injured Andy Robertson (£3.7m) at left-back, the Greece international mustered just two points against Manchester City but he came good in the Europa League on Thursday night with a clean sheet and a bonus point after playing 82 minutes against LASK.

Daniel’s defence combined for 55 points by the end of the Gameweek, doubled to 110 by Park the Bus – now that’s how you use a Booster!

No player scored more points than Phil Foden (£4.9m) in Gameweek 13.

City’s homegrown hero notched six points against Liverpool before taking RB Leipzig for 17 on Tuesday night via a goal and two assists.

The England international propelled himself up to second in the midfield rankings this week.

Bukayo Saka (£6.5m) remains to top of the tree, however, after yet another brilliant week.

It was Arsenal’s No7 who provided the inch-perfect cross for Kai Havertz’s (£3m) late winner at Brentford and he was firmly among the fun against Lens before he was removed in the 66th minute.

The 22-year-old scored one goal and set up another as the Ligue 1 side fell apart at the Emirates.

Saka has seven goals and 11 assists to his name already this season – what a player.

Anthony Gordon (£3.6m) completed the three-man midfield.

Newcastle’s No10 continued his impressive home form with a goal and an assist against Mauricio Pochettino’s men last weekend as part of a 12-point return – he only registered two appearance points in Paris.

The former Everton winger is currently the most transferred-in player ahead of Gameweek 14.

Daniel kept it simple up front with Erling Haaland (£7.9m) and Mohamed Salah (£6.7m), who combined for 36 points despite the fact the were in direct competition last weekend.

The prolific Norwegian was strapped with the captain’s armband as well so his 21-point haul was doubled to 42.

What is there left to say about these two elite forwards? Just relentless excellence.

Incredible work, Daniel, enjoy your well-deserved £100!

Good luck to all gaffers ahead of Gameweek 14.
