Vinicius came close to putting the Spanish giants in front during the first half.

After being played in by Dani Carvajal, he controlled the ball before turning and shooting.

However, his strike hit the far post before Manuel Neuer saved the rebound and gathered the ball.

The forward could not believe he had failed to score and lifted his shirt over his head in response.

In doing so, he revealed another shirt underneath his Real Madrid jersey with the message “Pray for RS”.

The message appears to be a tribute to those impacted by the recent floods in Brazil.

Unprecedented devastation has been caused in the state of Rio Grande do Sul by flooding and overflowing rivers.

Porto Alegre airport in the state has even been left under water as a result of the floods.
