RICH RICCI, a former investment banker, is one of the biggest characters in the world of horse racing.

The American is a popular racehorse owner and has a great working relationship with trainer Willie Mullins.

Who is Rich Ricci?

Ricci was born in the United States in 1964.

The man who refers to himself as the ‘maddest f***er on the planet’ made his millions in the world of investment banking.

The 59-year-old is formally a co-chief executive of Barclays‘ investment banking arm.

Ricci received a £44million payout when he left Barclays back in 2013.

He is now a shrewd investor and a racehorse owner, which he does as a hobby.

Ricci is married to wife Susannah, and the pair used to regularly travel to Dublin to watch their horses in action.

As of 2022, Rich Ricci has a colossal net worth of over £100million.

At the 2016 Cheltenham Festival, Ricci won a massive £400,000 in one day after three of his horses won.

The horses that day were, Douvan, Annie Power and Vroum Vroum Mag.

All of the horses that were victorious were trained by well-renowned Irish trainer Willie Mullins and ridden by now-retired jockey Ruby Walsh.
