Former Borussia Dortmund player Erling Haaland is the son of Gry Marita Braut, an accomplished athlete in her home of Norway.
The Man City star’s mother participated in the heptathlon and was once the Norwegian champion.
A heptathlon consists of the 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put, and 200m sprint, followed by the long jump, javelin throw, and 800m run.
