THE BOAT RACE is nearly upon us as Cambridge take on Oxford for the 169th time in the historic event.
Last year, Cambridge extended their lead over University rivals Oxford after holding off a late charge.

And Cambridge completed the double with both women’s and men’s winning
It was a double for Cambridge last year as they also triumphed in the women’s race.
At the end of the men’s Boat Race, Oxford rower Felix Drinkall collapsed and was rushed to hospital, but thankfully it was confirmed afterwards he was OK.

When is The Boat Race 2024?
The Boat Race 2024 is on Saturday, March 30.
The women’s race kicks off at 2.46pm GMT.
While the men’s takes place after at 3.46pm GMT.
