Super Eagles striker, Sadiq Umar said the team is ready to fight for the AFCON ticket after the World Cup qualifier disappointment.
Speaking to NFF TV, Sadiq Umar said the players are ready to pick themselves up.
He said, “We are all getting ready for the game after the World Cup qualifier, we look at ourselves and we told ourselves we have to come back stronger.”
Sadiq Umar was a key part of Almeria gaining promotion to the La Liga as their top scorer and he said it’s a dream come true for him.
“Playing in La Liga is like a dream come true and finally we got the ticket and I can’t wait.”
Nigeria will tackle Sierra Leone in the first match of the AFCON qualifier.
