The pair filmed the latest series of The Ultimate Fighter and coached against each other in the reality show.

And the verbal warfare and mind games have continued since, with McGregor taking to Twitter for his latest swipe.

The Irishman uploaded a clip of Chandler’s 2019 appearance on game show Deal or No Deal.

At one point in the episode, the banker challenged the ex-MMA champion to a “physical challenge”.

It turned out to be dance off against a ballerina, in which Chandler had to wear a pink tutu for.

So fans warned that the stakes are even higher for McGregor’s next fight.

One said: “Bro you can’t lose to this guy.”

Another added: “You BETTER not lose after this.”

Chandler – not signed by the UFC at that point – passed the test but went on to walk away with $71,000 for his effort on Deal or No Deal.

The American, 36, debuted in the UFC in 2021 and has three losses and two wins in the octagon.

He was most recently beaten by Dustin Poirier, 34, in New York in November.

But the performance was enough to earn him a fight with the returning McGregor, 34, despite a date and venue not yet being announced.

In an interview with ESPN, Chandler predicted: “I don’t see this fight lasting more than two rounds.

“My ‘Mystic Mike’ prediction is that I finish him in the second round by KO; clean KO, his head bounces off the canvas.”

But McGregor hit back in a tweet: “You’re getting crushed, pal.”
