Tyson Fury hints he will box for another DECADE after taking inspiration from golden oldie Larry Holmes
TYSON FURY is taking inspiration from golden oldie Larry Holmes to fight on toward his forties.
The 34-year-old WBC Gypsy King has retired a handful of times recently but faces Derek Chisora on Saturday night, with eyes on an undisputed decider with Oleksandr Usyk in March.

The undefeated Morecambe giant reckons he wants three fights in 2023 – with British rivals like Joe Joyce and Daniel Dubois possible targets.
And he has been watching clips of the legendary Easton Assassin, now 73, who was still knocking out heavyweight prospects late into his iconic career.
“I need it mentally, physically and emotionally,” he said about his latest retirement 180.
“Hopefully in the future I will find a time to let it go.
“I was watching Larry Holmes the other night and he was still kicking a*** at 43 and I am still only 34.
“That shows you there is still plenty of gas left in my tank so we will see what the future holds.”
Holmes – who never got his full deserved credit as he was the impossible heir to Muhammad Ali’s throne – was 42 and had retired twice when he took Evander Holyfield the distance and bravely lost in 1992.
The man with the finest jab in the history of heavyweight boxing then went on a seven-fight win streak before facing WBC champ Oliver McCall – just after he had stunned Lennox Lewis and refused a rematch – aged 46 and took him the distance too but suffered another defeat.

Fury is modelling some of his latest incarnation on Holmes’ legendary longevity but finding it much harder to secure his own super fights.
“The Usyk fight wasn’t close,” he claimed.
“He called me out after he beat AJ in August and I gave him a couple of dates in November and December but then he said he was not ready.
“I felt we were pretty close to making the Anthony Joshua fight, I was optimistic in the first week because he had nothing to lose and everything to gain and I was very generous with the purse split.
“But then they said they didn’t want November 26, I gave them a December date and then they blamed sponsorships and commercial deals.
“I had to move on, we offered it to Derek and he took it and you have to give credit for that, because he is a warhorse.”
