The Gyspsy King was discussing his previous stay at famous Scottish hotel Gleneagles with his wife Paris.

And that was when he made the outlandish claim that he had come to blows with Tarrant.

The two-time heavyweight champion said: “I had a big row with Chris Tarrant last time I was there.”

The surprising story left fans shocked, but nobody seemed more taken aback than Tarrant himself.

The former Who Wants to be a Millionaire host has since rubbished the claims.

Speaking to the Mail Online he even said the pair had never met despite Fury’s crazy statement.

The 76-year-old said: “It is complete nonsense! I’ve never even met him.

“My wife and I got into a crowded lift with Tyson in it. We didn’t even speak and I got out at the next floor.

“There was no row, not a word was exchanged and we never saw him again. So I’ve still never met him.

“He is one of the greatest boxers I’ve ever seen, why on earth would I have a row with him? This is rubbish.”
