Three-time Champions League winner set to be unemployed at 27 putting Prem giants on red alert over free transfer
MARCO ASENSIO is already being linked with a string of Premier League giants as the Real Madrid legend heads for a free transfer this summer.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham admire the 35-cap Spain midfielder, 27.
Long-serving Real Madrid midfielder Marco Asensio is on the brink of an exit that could have major Premier League clubs scrambling for his servicesRex
Manchester City and United, plus Liverpool, have been mentioned too.
Talks with Real over a new contract began in December but appear to have ended in failure.
The three-time Champions League winner wanted more regular starts under Carlo Ancelotti.
And although the Italian boss has insisted Asensio is a key player, he has still mainly used the playmaker only from the bench.
It’s claimed PSG are also interested in the stylish performer.
But the strongest demand for the Bernabeu super-sub seems to come from the English top flight.
Arsenal were understood to have held negotiations over Asensio earlier this year.
And it’s thought Luis Enrique would also be keen if the ex-Barcelona chief took over at Tottenham.

Stamford Bridge has long been talked up as a possible destination.
But incoming Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is sure to re-balance a squad that looks top-heavy with creative players.
Wherever Asensio ends up, few stars will have a better list of club honours.
Apart from his Champions League treble, he’s also won LaLiga three times, plus four Club World Cups.
That’s on top of three European Super Cups, a trio of Spanish Super Cups and one Copa del Rey.
