One of the most controversial characters of the hit BBC show, Alex is now stealing the spotlight while indulging in one her biggest passions.

She has joined Raceday TV – the social media-friendly arm of Racing TV.
Alex travels up and down the country getting to grips with racing, seeing the horses in action and chatting to punters.
It’s a far cry from trying to figure out who she could and couldn’t trust under the watchful eye of Claudia Winkleman.
Alex, 27, entered The Traitors – where people try to work out who is telling the truth and who isn’t – with her 24-year-old boyfriend Tom Elderfield.
However, in a bid to win the £120,000 cash prize they kept their romance under wraps.
Alex finally revealed it after Tom had been kicked out in a bid to prove she was not a traitor.

No spoilers here, but Alex developed into one of the most talked-about characters on the show.
And the same could maybe one day be said of her new career in racing… albeit without the threat of being accused – rightly or wrongly – of being a liar on national TV!
A quick scroll of her Instagram reveals her love of the 500kg thoroughbreds capable of hitting 40mph.
Alex joins the likes of Frankie Foster in being a familiar face of the new racing coverage.
Fans might remember him from Love Island – which, as it turns out, Alex was offered a spot on.
She turned it down and recently revealed why.
She said: “That kind of genre of reality show where it is more about prancing around in a bikini and falling in love with other contestants, that wasn’t for me.
“I’d always kind of shunned it and turned away from doing reality until I saw that the BBC were doing their first ever proper reality show.
“I liked the fact that it was with the BBC and the idea that it wasn’t about looks, it wasn’t about falling in love – these kinds of boring formats have been done over and over again.
“This was something new – something exciting. Before I knew it, I sent off my application almost in vain thinking nothing was going to happen.
“Then, before I know, I’m kind of being buried alive by Claudia Winkleman in the Scottish Highlands.”
Not quite a day out at Aintree – but no doubt she finds this latest career move just as fun.
