Terrifying moment UFC star ignores tap from radio presenter and chokes him unconscious

DAN HOOKER has been filmed choking a radio producer unconscious in shocking footage.

The terrifying moment was caught on camera as the UFC star appeared to ignore a tap from producer Mitch Farr.

Hooker had been appearing on The Morning Rumble show when he performed a triangle choke on Farr.

After forcing him to tap twice, the Hangman cinched the choke in on his third try, with Farr tapping again before appearing to go unconscious.

The video shows the moment he is choked out and is seen visibly shaken after Hooker releases the choke and lets him get back to his feet.

Farr was in good spirits after the incident, though, as he spoke later in the show.

Asked to comment on the exchange, he simply answered: “I’m good.”

Brazilian jiu-jitsu brown belt Hooker has amassed a 23-12 record in his professional mixed martial arts career.

The 33-year-old is currently ranked ninth in the UFC lightweight rankings after his latest win.

Hooker beat Jalin Turner via split decision in a brutal contest at UFC 290 back in July.

He suffered a broken arm, cheek bone and a horrific cut to his head during his thrilling battle with the American.

The New Zealander had been due to return to the octagon earlier this month in the co-main event of UFC Austin.

However, Hooker was forced to withdraw from his scheduled bout with Bobby Green after re-aggravating an arm injury.
