Ghana defender Mohammed Salisu has been lauded by Southampton teammate Jannik Vestergaard after easily adapting to the left back role. The former Real Valladolid defender has been deployed at the left back position in recent games where he played comfortably.Pundits in England see him as a replacement for Ryan Bertrand at that role due to the latter’s poor form this season.Meanwhile, defensive partner Jannik Vestergaard believes Salisu could be a real asset for the club in future.”He looks comfortable on the ball, he has an amazing physique and is just generally a nice guy. I think hes a big talent and he has a lot of years ahead of him,” said Vestergaard.Salisu has made 10 Premier League appearances since joining from Valladolid in the summer transfer window. The 22-year-old took time to settle but has already gained the trust of manager Ralph Hassenhutl, who has been starting him in games lately
