It was first reported back in March that the long-running show had been cancelled and would not be returning next season.

Presenter John “Fenners” Fendley later claimed on social media that no official decision had been made.

However, Sky have since confirmed that Saturday’s show will be the final edition of Soccer AM.

Ahead of the farewell episode, fan-favourite Tubes visited City’s training ground to interview Gundogan.

During the visit, he was handed a cake with his face on it before posing for pictures with the German midfielder.

Taking to Instagram, Tubes shared the images and wrote: “Last ever Soccer AM interview done.”
