Snooker rich list revealed after Ronnie O’Sullivan’s £1MILLION season as Kyren Wilson jumps into fourth with £500k win

RONNIE O’SULLIVAN leads the way in this season’s snooker rich list after pocketing over £1MILLION in earnings.

But Kyren Wilson has jumped into fourth after landing £500,000 from his stunning World Snooker Championship win.

With the current campaign coming to an end on Sunday, it’s O’Sullivan who is the top money maker in the game.

The Rocket has amassed an amazing £1.016m since start of play last June.

O’Sullivan has won five finals in the past 12 months, including two ranking competitions.

But it was his victory at the inaugural World Masters in Saudi Arabia that really boosted his earnings.

O’Sullivan collected a cool £250,000 for victory in the Middle East.

While wins in the World Grand Prix and the Masters solidified his position as top dog.

In second place is Judd Trump, who has raked in £911,000.

Like O’Sullivan, he has five wins to his name this season.

But unlike the Rocket, all of them have come in ranking tournaments.

Among Trump’s highlights are the World Open and the English Open, leaving him close on O’Sullivan’s heels and with plenty of daylight to third place.

The seven-time world champion makes almost as big an impact away from the table as on it.

O’Sullivan has three children – two daughters and a son.

That spot goes to Mark Allen, who has won three tournaments to take home £438,500.

He triumphed in the Players Championship and was also crowned the Champion of Champions.

Meanwhile, fourth place belongs to new snooker king Wilson.

The ace stormed to glory in the World Snooker Championship, with first prize at the Crucible earning him £500,000.

That takes his total to £646,950, with Wilson previously in 25th spot before the epic win.

The rest of the top 10 is made up of Mark Williams (£438,500), Ali Carter (£425,000) and Zhang Anda (£414,000).

Mark Selby (£401,000), Ding Junhui (£388,500) and John Higgins (£368,600) also feature.

Meanwhile, beaten Worlds finalist Jak Jones has ended in 14th spot after getting a £100,000 prize at the tournament.

That has seen him soar from 26th spot, one behind the place his victorious opponent Wilson was initially in.
