Singer and Soccer Aid star surprises BBC reporter at Stamford Bridge as fans say ‘this is incredible’

SINGER and Soccer Aid star Tom Grennan surprised BBC Sport presenter Ashleigh Wilmot at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

Grennan, 28, was in attendance to watch Chelsea Women’s Champions League quarter-final second leg against Ajax.

And after surprising fans he posed for a picture with the presenter next to the pitch.

Wilmot shared the snap on Instagram after the match, writing: “Brilliant night at Stamford Bridge!

“Great to work with the ‘Bring The Noise’ team…and alongside the fabulous Andy Collins!

“What a night…Tom Grennan even stopped by for a chat too!”

Fans took to the comments to react, with one person writing: “Stop it .”

Another commented: “Smashed it Wilmot!”

While a third wrote: “This is incredible .”

The match between Chelsea and Ajax ended 1-1, with the Blues progressing to the semi-finals.

Emma Hayes’ side won the first leg 3-0, making the score 4-1 on aggregate.

This year’s Soccer Aid match is also set to be played at Stamford Bridge.
