Sheikh Jassim prepared for ‘IMMEDIATE Man Utd takeover’ if Glazers accept £5billion bid

SHEIKH JASSIM is reportedly preparing for an immediate takeover of Manchester United once the Glazers accept his bid.

The Qatari is the favourite to take over after submitting a £5billion offer to buy the club.

And he is now readying the necessary documents to take control of the club once it has been sold, report The Athletic.

That includes shareholder agreements with Jassim eager to start running the club as soon as possible.

However the sheikh has been left in the dark over when he will be able to take charge as the Glazers have failed to communicate a timeline of the next steps.

As a result Jassim is said to be cautious about taking over, with one associate describing him as risk averse.

They said of the potential owner: “He sees lots of deals but he’s pretty sceptical and prudent with what he does.”

Despite that, the Qatari banker is believed to be formulating plans for when he takes charge, including offering club legends a position in the club’s hierarchy.

He is reportedly planning to offer former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a role at the club.

Solskjaer recently spoke about his future, saying: “I’ve got another job in me, if it’s the right chance and exciting enough.

“There are so many clubs, but I’m not going to work just for the sake of working.

“It has to be something special, a new culture, or a club that really excites me.

“Or maybe they will want me back at the club [United] in some capacity, who knows?”
