Man United will host Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals at Old Trafford today.

This remains the only piece of silverware Erik ten Hag can get on this season while Jurgen Klopp is already looking to bag a second – after winning the Carabao Cup.

Ahead of the ultimate clash, with Paddy Power Ronaldo, 47, has picked his ultimate Premier League starting XI with five Man Utd icons making the cut.

And he selected Peter Schmeichel between the sticks, Gary Neville for right back, David Beckham for right wing with Ryan Giggs in left wing and Cristiano Ronaldo upfront.

Other football legends to make the line-up were Arsenal legends Sol Campbell, Patrick Viera and Thierry Henry.

Alongside Chelsea stars John Terry, Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard.

But fans were not happy about the ex-Real Madrid ace’s selection after he subbed any Liverpool of Manchester City‘s players getting a spot.

Ronaldo – considered by many to be the greatest to ever play the game – laced up his boots and turned out for Phoenix FC, bottom of the NWL Division 8 in Essex last weekend.

The Sunday league side won a social media competition run by Paddy Power which saw the World Cup winner play for ‘one of the worst teams in England’.
