Pep Guardiola drops huge hint he could QUIT Man City after clinching fifth Premier League in six years as Arsenal lose

PEP GUARDIOLA has hinted he could LEAVE Manchester City as they clinched their fifth Premier League title in six seasons.

Arsenal’s 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday evening sealed the crown for the defending champions ahead of their game against Chelsea at the Etihad on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola has refused to state if he will stay at Man City should they do the trebleGetty

The title is Guardiola‘s fifth since he arrived in England seven years ago – his third in succession.

And he will be hoping it does not stop there as the Spaniard eyes a sensational treble.

Man City face Manchester United in the FA Cup final and Inter Milan in the Champions League final.

If they win both games, they will become the first English club to win do the treble since Sir Alex Ferguson’s Man Utd in 1999.

But Guardiola gave a rather cryptic answer regarding his future in an interview before Arsenal‘s defeat handed his side the Premier League title.

Speaking to Sky Sports about there being little to achieve should they lift all three trophies, he said: “First, we have to win it. [Then] you can ask me after and I will tell you how I feel and how I think.”

He was then pressed about whether he had thought about not having anything left to accomplish at Man City.

To which he replied: “Of course, we are three games away and we need each competition to do it.

“[But] You are going to tell me that our city rivals, Man Utd, will be an easy game?’

“What will happen against an Italian team, who don’t feel favourites?

“I’m thinking about that. And after, of course, if we achieve then I will tell you.”

Remarkably, Guardiola has won 11 league titles in just 14 seasons of management.

He has also lifted two Champions League and nine domestic cups.

His Man City contract runs until 2025 – an extension he penned earlier this season.
