Keane didn’t hold back on his criticism of Lionel Scaloni’s men as he claims they lacked aggression and composure against their underdog opponents, who came from behind.

The former Republic of Ireland international was especially critical of ex-United star Di Maria because the Juventus ace was easily beaten by Salem Aldawsari before his extraordinary winner.

Keane told ITV: “There’s no aggression, there’s bodies there, you’ve got to go attack there, they’ve lost all composure.

“They’ve lost their heads, look at Di Maria… Di Maria, my God.”

However, Saleh Aishehri equalised after 48 minutes before Aldawsari’s screamer just five minutes later.

Keane praised the performance by Herve Renard’s men against a “dreadful” Argentina.

The United great added: “One-nil down you’re thinking they’re hanging in there, surviving, on the ropes. They get a goal back and went on to win the game.
