Monza chief counting on Kevin-Prince Boateng to sign Ribery 

 AC Monza chief Adriano Galliani is hoping Kevin-Prince Boateng could help the club to sign Franck Ribery in the summer.Ribery has his contract expiring in June and has no plans of his extending his deal with Fiorentina.Boateng who left Fiorentina to join AC Monza in the summer could help Monza chief Berlusconi in luring the French star to the club.The two are best of friends and Galliani wants Boateng to convince the treble winner with Bayern Munich to join the club.Monza are hoping to secure qualification to the top-flight next season which will enable them to afford the wages of the 37-year old.Ribery is paid 4 million euros in salary by Fiorentina in his current contract.Monza have already contacted Ribery’s entourage this January but the player wasn’t keen on a move.Promotion to the Serie A by Monza would be considered by Ribery.
