TRIBUTES have poured in as Mike McFarlane has passed away aged 63.
The athlete was a star in his career as he was an Olympic silver and Commonwealth gold medallist.

He picked up his Olympic medal during the 1988 games in Seoul, South Korea and his Commonwealth gold in 1982 in Brisbane, Australia.
