The midfielder was initially shown a yellow card by referee Anthony Taylor but he changed his mind after consulting the VAR monitor.
Erik ten Hag fumed with Taylor after the game but United have decided not to appeal to the FA, a club statement confirmed.
The Red Devils also decided not to act following Casemiro’s red card against Crystal Palace last month.
That first dismissal means Casemiro will serve a four-match ban for his second straight red card of the season.
The Brazilian will miss the FA Cup quarter-final clash with Fulham on Sunday, as well as games against Newcastle, Brentford and Everton.
Ten Hag bemoaned a lack of consistency in the Prem following Casemiro’s red card, highlighting his good disciplinary record while he was at Real Madrid.
The United boss said: “It is inconsistent. The referees are coming at the start of the season with a policy: we are the Premier League, we want intensity and Casemiro, across European games, over 500, he never had a red card but now, twice. He plays tough but he’s fair.
“Same as against Crystal Palace, so it’s very debatable. When you freeze it [Sunday’s challenge], it looks bad.

“Everyone who knows something about football, knows what is bad, what is fair and Casemiro is a fair player.
“Tough, but fair, and it shows over 500 games in big leagues and he was never sent off. He’s disappointed.”
