PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are waiting to discover Kylian Mbappe’s plans before lining up attacking targets – but Marcus Rashford is not expected to be pursued.

The French giants have been credited with interest in United star Rashford, who caused uproar for calling in sick for training after his Belfast bender last week.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi called Rashford an “amazing player” during the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

And he even hinted he would be interested in signing the forward on a free transfer as his contract was running down at the time.

But it would be a different situation this summer if indeed United are open to selling, with Rashford set to command a huge fee in that scenario.

SunSport understands the England forward, 26, is not one of the names currently being discussed as a possible new recruit among the PSG hierarchy.

The Paris-based outfit would have plenty of cash to splash if Mbappe leaves this summer.

But it is believed they would look at other targets such as Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.

Mbappe’s massive contract is due to expire in the summer.

And while there is still a chance he could renew, it is more likely he moves, with Real Madrid touted as his next destination.

He is allowed to negotiate with foreign clubs ahead of a potential free transfer in the summer.

One potential stumbling block to any move is Mbappe’s reported dream of playing at the Paris Olympics this summer.

But if the France superstar, 25, does leave, PSG are expected to sign multiple players to replace him.
