Hargreaves will be negotiating deals for the club and it’s been reported he has accepted terms with United and will start before the summer transfer window.

The Old Trafford outfit have an existing relationship with Hargreaves dating back to when Adidas returned as United’s kit supplier in the 2015/2016 season.

Hargreaves had been a marketing director at the German sportswear giant and focused on players and scouting.

It will be an important summer for the Red Devils with negotiations needed for current players including goalkeeper David De Gea who will be out of contract at the end of the season.

Marcus Rashford who has been in superb form this season will have just one year left on his deal come the end of the season.
