Sir Alex Ferguson’s side of the 1998-99 are considered by many to be the best of the Premier League era due to their success.

The Red Devils picked up the first of their three trophies by pipping Arsenal to the league title by a single point.

United then followed it up by beating Newcastle United 2-0 in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium.

The final stage of the treble would prove the most dramatic, though, as United faced Bayern Munich in Barcelona.

Trailing 1-0 heading into stoppage time, goals from Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer saw United snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
