Man Utd are keen to bolster their midfield options in the transfer window with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his chiefs are identifying targets.

Reports from CaughtOffside claim that Fofana is on their radar.

However, a move could prove difficult with Monaco reluctant to sell in January and PSG like the look of him.

Fofana fits the Parisians profile of signing French-born stars.

Meanwhile, Monaco are aware they may struggle to keep the 15-time capped international if they don’t qualify for next season’s Champions League.

They currently sit third in Ligue 1 just six points off PSG at the top.
