Luke Littler updates — Record-breaking World Darts Championship debut for kid aged 16 as odds nose-dive

0

LUKE Littler shocked fans last night with the greatest debut performance in 30 years at the PDC World Darts Championship.

The 16-year-old produced a brilliant display to beat Dutchman Christian Kist, a former Lakeside world champion, in the first round.

Winning 3-0 so comprehensively inside 19 minutes of playing time, after throwing seven 180s, has seen his odds tumble from 50-1 to 12-1 to claim the £500,000 crown on January 3.

Luke will face 53-year-old Andrew Gilding in round two of the World Darts Championship tonight.
