Lewis Hamilton is NOT part of Jim Ratcliffe’s Man Utd takeover bid despite previously hinting he would get on board
LEWIS HAMILTON is not part of Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s bid to buy Manchester United, according to reports.
The seven-time F1 champion hinted back in September that he might be prepared to get involved with a potential takeover.

At the time, Hamilton said: “I haven’t had time to catch up with Jim since I was in Namibia (during the mid-season break).
“I haven’t had a call from him asking if I want to be involved in that just yet but I do want to get more and more involved in teams.
“But Jim’s part-boss and part-partner, I would say we’re more partners because we’re in this together and I hope in the future to do something with Jim and build with him, I don’t know when that’ll be or what that’ll be.”
Boyhood United fan Ratcliffe publicly registered his interest in the club this week as he hopes to takeover from the Glazers.
The 70-year-old, who’s worth £15billion and is Britain’s richest man, first revealed he was keen last summer.
Despite his previous comments though, the Independent claim that Hamilton is NOT currently active in his offer.
United announced back in November that the club was up for sale with the Glazers prepared to sell their entire stake.
A deal is expected to cost around £9billion.

On the pitch, United go in search of a tenth consecutive victory against Crystal Palace tonight.
Should they prove successful, they will climb up to third in the Prem and move six points behind Arsenal ahead of their meeting on Sunday.
