KEVIN DE BRUYNE is reportedly in transfer talks over a shock Manchester City exit to a club who’ve never played a game.

San Diego FC was created last year after beating a bid from Las Vegas to become the MLS’s 30th franchise team.

The side will be based in southern California and will not compete until 2025 after moving into the 35,000-seater Snapdragon Stadium.

San Diego so far have just three players in American goalie Duran Feree, Danish midfielder Jeppe Tverskov and Danish striker Marcus Ingvartsen.

The trio are currently on loan elsewhere until San Diego enter the MLS next year.

But the ambitious new club want to add some glitz ahead of their first match after putting Sergio Ramos on their shortlist.

And The Athletic claims they are also trying to land Man City superstar De Bruyne in an audacious swoop.

It’s reckoned the Belgian’s camp have held talks with the American side.

But a move this summer appears unlikely, with De Bruyne set to stay for at least one more year at City.

His £400,000-a-week contract expires in 2025 and he remains a key player under Pep Guardiola.

However, City’s boss has been tipped for an exit if he can clinch a fifth consecutive Premier League title.

And that could see De Bruyne decide to move on, with the midfielder open to living in San Diego at some point.

He isn’t the only City ace facing an uncertain future, with Bernardo Silva a target for Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.

Meanwhile, goalie Ederson could also be on the move.

He is reportedly being lined up by teams in Saudi Arabia and is open to an Etihad exit.

The likes of Joao Cancelo and Jack Grealish could also be shown the door in a major shake-up.
