KAA Gent forward Osman Bukari delighted to net first goal of the year in victory over OH Leuven
Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari has expressed delight in grabbing his first goal of 2021 after scoring in KAA Gent’s victory over OH Leuven in the Jupiler Pro League on Sunday night.The Ghana youth international was put through clear on goal by Sven Kums and he kept his composure to slot it past the goalkeeper in the 54th minute.Finally I was able to score again.It felt good to make my first of 2021.I was close to it a few times in the past few weeks, but today it was twice as good,” he said after the game. “Three goals, a clean sheet and three points towards Ghent, that makes everyone happy. You also saw it in the dressing room that everyone enjoyed it.In short, it was a great victory that we would like to continue in the coming matches,” he added.The 22-year-old was replaced in the 68th minute by Ivorian youngster Niangbo Dogbole.Bukari has now scored four league goals in 18 appearances.By Lukman Abdul Mumin
