JOAO CANCELO’S Manchester City transfer exit has turned ugly.

That’s after the Bayern Munich-bound ace allegedly blocked several fan accounts on social media.

Cancelo, 28, is on the verge of completing a shock loan move to Bavaria after a reported fall-out with Pep Guardiola.

It’s reckoned the Portugal star was left stunned after being dropped from City’s starting XI.

And Cancelo is now set to join German champs Bayern, who have an option to sign him permanently this summer.

However, it’s claimed Cancelo’s Etihad exit has become even more bitter.

Several Man City fan accounts with large followings say they have been blocked by the defender on Twitter and Instagram.

It hints that Cancelo is burning all bridges with the club.

And it also suggests he has no intention of returning to City should Bayern not make his loan permanent, with the champs reportedly targeting Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell as a replacement.

One fan said: “Cancelo has blocked anyone who is affiliated with Man City on Instagram.

“He must have left on really bad terms to do such a petty thing.”

Another said: “Update: Cancelo has blocked us.”

One joked: “To be fair that’s his first decent block of the season.”

Another added: “After this I’m not feeling sorry for Cancelo at all, shows how big a negative impact he was creating inside the City camp.”

Cancelo’s sharp decline has come as a major surprise after making a name for himself as one of the Premier League’s best players.

Signed from Juventus for £30million plus Danilo in 2019, Cancelo won two titles after playing 154 games.

He was named in the last two Teams of the Season, and only signed a new long-term City contract less than a year ago.

However, Guardiola’s tactical tweak to a back three in possession saw Nathan Ake become the preferred choice at left-back.

Rico Lewis is also No1 at right-back for his discipline at drifting inside to make a midfield two.

And Guardiola’s new style has also prompted fears over Kyle Walker’s long-term future at City.
