Jan Gyamerah thrilled with Hamburg SV triumph over SC Paderborn in Bundesliga II

Ghanaian defender Jan Gyamerah is delighted with efforts put in by his Hamburg SV teammates in the victory against SC Paderborn 07.Hamburg consolidated their position at the summit of the German Bundesliga II standings after inflicting a 3-1 loss on SC Paderborn last Saturday.The first half of the game was cagey as it ended 2-1 in favour of the home side before Sonny Kittel put the match to bed early in the second half.We had to fight for victory for 90 minutes today. It was an intense game and we could certainly have scored one or the other goal more, but in the end the three points count, Gyamerah said.Gyamerah has played two successive games since returning from injury late last month.
