Or how about a Scottish wrestler throwing his hat into the ring?
That’s exactly what Joe Hendry has done.
The 36-year-old grappler, who is signed to the TNA Wrestling brand, hails from Edinburgh and has taken the internet by storm over the last few weeks.
Known for his musical exploits in the ring, Hendry turned into a TikTok sensation almost overnight.
Fans have fallen in love with his persona and his singing in the ring, with the Scot often playing guitar and starring in his own music videos.
Since then, the wrestling community – and beyond – has helped push his signature song up the charts.
I Believe in Joe Hendry (with its video filmed on Arthur‘s Seat in Edinburgh) has been around for a year but the Edinburgh man only officially released the song last month.
Thanks to a viral campaign it has gained traction and worked its way up the charts, including to number ONE in the iTunes list.
Hendry – who was part of Team Scotland at the 2018 Commonwealth Games – set his sights on the official UK Singles Chart and this week he debuted in the top TEN, coming in at number six.
He posted on his X account once the news was official: “Unfortunately the Swifties were too powerful for streaming, but we have been awarded number six in the official UK sales chart.
“This is amazing. Thank you.”
He added: “Congrats @ThisIsTNA you officially have a charting artist on the roster.”
Speaking to STV before the weekly chart listings came out, Hendry said: “I don’t think I’ve ever faced anyone as big as Taylor Swift and I do not underestimate the power of the Swifties.
“I have to say I have treated pretty well by the Swiftie community. They seem to be supportive.

“They know Taylor’s on top, she can have a week off. She deserves a holiday.
“They seem to be behind that and taking it in good fun.
“The last few weeks have been mad, every day it has just snowballed more and more.”
Hendry became an unlikely hit on TikTok and since then there’s been plenty of talk about him on social media.
“It started when there was some buzz on TikTok, people making videos about me and they were getting half a million hits.
“I thought, I should probably release this song.
“The fans really got behind it after it went to number 20 in the UK iTunes chart and it got to number one.
“It was number one in Malta, number two in Ireland and it got to number six in the US on the same week Taylor Swift released an album.
“I would be delighted to appear in the top 40. How high? I have no idea. But it has been an absolute blast.”
