Great Olympics star Gladson Awako hopes to play abroad again
Great Olympics stars Gladson Awako is still eying a move to play abroad before he hangs ups his boot.
The 30-year old returned to the domestic top-flight after stints with TP Mazembe, Don Bosco (DR Congo) and USL side Phoenix Rising.
The Ghana U-20 World Cup winner has been in superb form for Great Olympics in the ongoing Ghana Premier League winning four Man of the Match awards and has scored three goals and made three assists.
Awako is hoping his impeccable form in the ongoing campaign will open doors for him to play abroad.
I am still looking forward to traveling outside if the chance comes. Because I feel I have what it takes. I am still fit and strong, he said in an interview on Asempa FM.
He opened up on his unsuccessful trails with European sides Tottenham and Monaco.
Gladson Awako has been nominated for Ghana Premier League Player of the Month for December Award.
