Dennis DowounaGhanaian midfielder Dennis Dowouna excelled as Skenderbeu ended their poor run of results over the weekend.Skenderbeu registered a shock 1-0 victory over Partizani to end their 10-game winless run in the Albanian top-flight.The run saw Skenderbeu lose six matches and earn just four points from a possible 30.But on Sunday, Skenderbeu secured a deserved victory away from home courtesy of a resolute performance.Dowouna, 20, was one of Skenderbeu’s best players, with an excellent performance that saw him overshadow Partizani.He was supported in the middle by 20-year-old compatriot, Randy Dwumfour.Dowouna’s performance is least surprising as he stood out during Skenderbeu’s poor run.He netted a sensational goal three weeks ago in their 1-1 draw against KF Vllaznia.Sunday’s match was his 23rd appearance as he is yet to miss a game for Skenderbeu this season.
