RICARDO PIETRECZKO has a history of seeing red even when he is not looking at the treble twenty.

Littler went on to lift the trophy after he was involved in a fiery 7-3 win in the semi-final against Pietreczko.

The 17-year-old’s fuming opponent squared up to him at the side of the oche and exchanged angry words with the wonderkid.

Pietreczko wrote on social media after the incident: “So I really appreciated the fact that you can play a game like that at such an age. But I hope his arrogance punishes him.”

Littler hit back on Facebook, writing: “No idea what I did wrong, no idea what he said. He said something then don’t do it again.”

The reason behind “Pikachu” blowing his top before aiming for double tops was due to Littler’s showbiz checkout attempt.

He required 147 and went for the treble 19, tops and bullseye finish route.

It is known as the “Peter Manley” after the former Premier League star used to favour that outrageous finish.

But Pietreczko’s anger should come as no surprise as he previously caused controversy against Beau Greaves.

The 20-year-old beat him 5-1 at last year’s Grand Slam of Darts, but he fumed during the defeat as the crowd took the side of his rival.

Pietreczko regularly cupped his ears at fans, who responded by booing him.

He later said if he was booed again he would walk off stage.

The current world No34 has since admitted “some people hate me”.

The PDC confirmed today that Pietreczko would not be referred to the Darts Regulation Authority despite his aggressive on-stage behaviour towards Littler.

Pundit Wayne Mardle said: “When some players lose, they act disrespectfully because they have lost… and that has to change. Respect your opponent.

“Professional darts is a stressful environment. It’s not for everyone.

“The world of darts has gone crazy for this kid because he’s a darting freak… and I love it.”
