French Open 2024 prize money: How much can Men’s and Women’s singles winners earn?
EVERY tennis player dreams of putting their name on the French Open title – and the prize money that comes with it isn’t too bad either.

While Iga Swiatek overcame Karolina Muchova in a gruelling Women’s Roland Garros showpiece.
And as a result, both winners took home a substantial amount of cash to go with their titles.
But how much will the winners be rewarded with for the 2024 edition?
What is the French Open 2024 prize money?
At this year’s French Open, the prize money up for grabs has increased by 7.82% from 2023.
Both the Men’s and Women’s singles winners will take home the same amount.
Winner: £2m
Runner-up: £1m
Semi-final: £557k
Quarter-final: £356k
Round 4: £214k
Round 3: £135k
Round 2: £94k
Round 1: £62k
What else has changed for 2024?
Suzanne-Lenglen court will feature a new retractable roof. After Philippe-Chatrier court, Suzanne-Lenglen court has now been fitted with a retractable roof as well.
The lightweight retractable cover which is made of canvas and inspired by the pleated skirt created by Jean Patou for Suzanne Lenglen, can be closed in just 15 minutes.
This design pays a fitting tribute to the champion, a pioneer of women’s tennis, who so perfectly embodied French elegance.
And the roof will be officially inaugurated on Sunday 26 May. Suzanne-Lenglen court will also be outfitted with LED panels along the court for the 2024 edition of the tournament.
