MANCHESTER CITY are likely to offload at least FIVE players to make room for new signings.
With the Cityzens edging closer to the all-important Treble this season, some key players might miss out on the action next year.

While Pep Guardiola is focused on winning the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League this season, City bosses are planning ahead.
Club chiefs are exploring ways of revamping the first-team squad as they bid to compete on all fronts once again next season.
They are believed to be targeting a new centre-back, midfielder and winger in the summer transfer market.
But some big-time players will have to leave the club to make room in City’s superstar squad:

IIkay Gundogan
As things stand Gundogan appears likely to leave City this summer, with his contract expiring at the end of the season.
Guardiola would love to keep the midfielder who remains an integral part of his team.
The German international has scored 8 goals and provided 4 assists in the Premier League this season.
Barcelona are favourites to sign him.
However, due to the financial troubles at Barca, he has reportedly agreed to take a huge pay-cut on his £140,000-a-week salary in order to “fulfil his desire” of wearing the famous shirt.
Bernardo Silva
Bernardo Silva scored twice in City’s 4-0 drubbing of Real Madrid on Wednesday.
But he has consistently been linked with a move away over the last 18 months.
The 28-year-old has scored 52 goals and provided 56 assists in 290 appearances.
The potential sale of the four-time Premier League winner, who is out of contract in June 2025, could help City fund a big-money move for one of Jude Bellingham or Declan Rice this summer.
Joao Cancelo
This one will not be a surprise to Man City fans.
Cancelo had been an key member of Guardiola’s side since his arrival in 2019, often being tipped as the best in his position in the league.
But, in January, the talented full-back was shipped out on loan to Bayern Munich after reportedly falling out of favour with manager Guardiola.
It has been reported that Cancelo will not be kept on in Bavaria either.
However, it’s not all bad news for the Portuguese star, as Chelsea, Real Madrid and Arsenal are all said to be closely monitoring his situation.
It begs the question as to whether City would sell to Arsenal again given they are now one of their biggest rivals.
Kalvin Phillips

Phillips had established himself as one of the Premier League’s top defensive midfielders after starting most games for England at Euro 2020.
He earned himself the Three Lions’ player of the year award in 2021.
Phillips joined in a £42m deal from Leeds United, but has spent a considerable amount of time either out injured or on the bench.
After returning to Manchester from the World Cup, Guardiola said he was “not injured” but “arrived overweight”.
Newcastle, Leicester and Wolves are interested.
Aymeric Laporte

Laporte could be another set to depart this summer having been forced to settle for a squad-rotation role this season, starting just six times in the Premier League.
The 28-year-old has arguably become City’s fifth-choice centre-back due to the impressive form of Manuel Akanji, Nathan Ake, John Stones and Ruben Dias.
The defender is reportedly keen to leave the club in search of regular first-team football.
Cityzens could use the funds generated from his potential sale to target RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol.
La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona have both been credited with interest in Laporte, who has made 171 appearances and won 8 trophies in Manchester.
