Fans troll ‘shameless’ Cristiano Ronaldo as he quickly shifts the blame for his dodgy first touch in Al-Nassr game

CRISTIANO RONALDO appeared to blame the floodlights at Al-Nassr’s stadium for an awful first touch.

The Portuguese attacker was pinged the ball by Luiz Gustavo but when it got to him it bounced off his thigh and straight to a defender.

Ronaldo, 38, wasn’t keen to take the blame for his blunder as he quickly seemed to blame the lighting.

The axed Man Utd star pointed to his eye and then gestured up to the stands.

Fans could not believe it when they saw Ronaldo shift the blame for his error.

One fan tweeted: “There’s no way Ronaldo couldn’t control a ball and blamed the lights.”

A second commented: “He actually blamed the lights for that miscontrol lol.”

A third wrote: “The lights were too big for big man.”

A fourth said: “Shameless man ”

While a fifth added: “There’s no way Ronaldo couldn’t control a ball and blamed the lights ”

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner saw the funny side of the mistake as he had a big smile on his face in last Friday’s clash.

He then helped inspire a stunning comeback as Al-Nassr scored three times in added time to beat rivals Al-Batin 3-1.

However he was a lot less cool after suffering his first defeat with Al-Nassr on Thursday.

Following the defeat to title rivals Al-Ittihad, he was seen shouting at his team-mates and kicking water bottles in frustration.
