CHELSEA fans have spotted an embarrassing mistake in one of Mykhailo Mudryk’s tattoos.

The Ukrainian forward, 23, has returned to Blues training after his country were knocked out in the group stage at Euro 2024.

And some Chelsea supporters are only just noticing a tattoo on his arm with an error in it.

On his tricep, Mudryk‘s arm ink reads: “Not always does lighting strike when there are sparks.”

“Lighting” should actually be “lightning”, an obvious misspelling on the part of either Mudryk or the tattoo artist.

The phrase also reads somewhat bizarrely in English – with fans calling out the confusing errors.

One said: “Mudryk has a spelling mistake in his tattoo.”

Another added: “Are any tattoos worse than Mudryk’s?”

While a third replied: “This is such a Mudryk tattoo.”

Last month, ex-Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel called on Mudryk to get rid of his tattoos.

He said: “He needs to cut the hair, he needs to get rid of the tattoos, and focus on playing for Chelsea Football Club.”

Since arriving at Stamford Bridge in January 2023, Mudryk has contributed just seven goals and four assists.

His £88million move is yet to pay off for Chelsea, but he will be hoping to thrive under new manager Enzo Maresca following the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino.
