Former Red Devils star O’Shea was seemingly given the honour of bringing out the trophy as he’s a former Republic of Ireland international.

The 43-year-old made 118 appearances and scored three goals for The Boys in Green in his 17-year-long international career.

The versatile defender, of course, is still currently the team’s interim manager following his appointment as Stephen Kenny‘s temporary successor in February.
