He was in shock after Galatasaray’s equaliser

United are still able to qualify for the next round of the Champions League despite the draw.

However, they would have been much more comfortable if they had beaten the Turkish giants.

Ferdinand, 45, was at Rams Park for the match and was put through an emotional rollercoaster for the full 90 minutes.

In a video of his reactions, the former footballer can be seen rising off his seat after watching Bruno Fernandes’ stunning goal which put the Reds 2-0 up.

He then hits out after Hakim Ziyech netted for the hosts.

When Ziyech scored again, thanks to an Andre Onana howler, Ferdinand slumped back down to his seat.

Ferdinand then had his hand on his forehead in disbelief as Muhammed Kerem Aktürkoğlu fired home Galatasaray‘s equaliser to make it 3-3 following Scott McTominay’s third for the visitors.

The Man United legend shared the video on his social media with the caption: “Crazy scenes… Rollercoaster ride on the comms last night! .”
