England fans ‘enjoy wild night with Qatari sheikh’s son & play with his lion cub in palace while hunting for beers’

ENGLAND fans claimed they enjoyed a wild night partying in a palace with the son of one of the Qatari Sheikhs.

The Three Lions supporters claimed they had a big night out after they ran into two locals while on a “hunt for beers”.

The fans said they met two locals who tole them they would sort beers for them

Alex Sullivan and his pal John claimed they were invited back for a “naughty one” – which ended up at one of the Royal residences.

Telling their wild tale on TalkSport and sharing some of their adventure on SnapChat, the fans made the best of the booze ban.

The duo claim they ran into two men they named as Nawaf and Abdul-Aziz who while searching for somewhere to drink on Saturday.

“We were on a hunt for some beers and they said ‘We’ll sort beers’, so we jumped into the back of his Toyota Land Cruiser, ended up in a big palace,” Everton fan Alex told TalkSport.

“We were in the back and he showed us monkeys, his exotic birds, it was nuts.”

Videos shared by Alex on SnapChat show them cuddling a lion cub and looking at the animal in a cage.

Another clip appears to show them in a lavish palace home with a enormous TV and one of them relaxing on a patio with the cub.

“We ended up at a big palace, we saw his monkeys & exotic birds,” he said.


“It was nuts.”

Alex later posted a video on Twitter of himself smoking it what appears to be a nightclub.

He also hit back at detractors of Qatar after questions were raised over corruption and the country’s human rights record.

“Yes they done dodgy things but are the UK & the US not the biggest human rights neglectors?” he said.

Other fans however questioned his story, comparing him to tall tale telling Jay from The Inbetweeners.

Commenters also compared the account to something from The Hangover movie series.

“Either this really happened, or these lads found a lot of beer,” one said.

Others however said the adventure was just an example of traditional “Qatari hospitality”.

England kick off their tournament today with a clash against Iran – as a cloud continues to hang over the World Cup.

The football extravaganza has faced major questions over the suitability of Qatar as a host nation.
